Montana Meth Boom
This episode of Drugs Inc. focuses on Montana. The border with Canada makes it a prime spot for marijuana smugglers from Canada. But that doesn't mean the Mexican cartels haven't expanded into Montana. The set up a hub of distribution for meth and even support marijuana growing operations in national forests. Meth is the biggest problem facing law enforcement. It's hard to get in Montana, which makes the trade lucrative for even small-time dealers. The recent influx of Big Oil money from jobs out of the Bakken oil field has created an even bigger demand for meth.
