Fahrenheit 2012: Suppressing Dissent in the 21st Century

America is riding down a slippery slope. Think about Nazi Germany in the mid-1930s. The smallest bit of dissent is being strongly opposed by the state. I am an outsider, a German living in London, but America's hypocrisy on its definition of freedom is what is going to strangle it. America claims to be a democracy, yet how can a country preach freedom when its citizens cannot speak its own mind?
