Here's the a documentary about the college conspiracy:
Educating your mind is important. You don't have to go to college to get an education. Shut off the TV and read books!
It's a shame that only the children of elites have full access to higher learning institutions. Knowledge is for the privileged because they are the only ones who can afford to pay skyrocketing tuition and fees. Poor people don't have a chance to go to college because they have to work. The middle class can't afford college and must take out loans at ridiculous rates. If you want to go to graduate school, then you have to go deeper into debt. By the time you get out of college, you have over six figures of debt to re-pay because the average annual tuition is almost $28,000 which doesn't include textbooks!
This is precisely why I used to say "I bought a BA that I could have gotten for free at the Library."
ReplyDeleteA few years ago I simplified my expression to "I have a PhD in Google."
