The Waffles Report: Am I the Stupid One?

I feel like I must be the stupid one.

I listened to the fascist controlled television yesterday and it was like it was talking to me. It asked the same question I have been asking myself: "Why is my gas going up to $5 a gallon when neither country exports any oil to the US?"

Of course, I got the smart answer: "We are in a global economy and anything that affects Europe effects us."

Are you fucking kidding me?

I am supposed to believe that shit when Exxon and Mobile owners are wiping their asses with gold bricks now? I swear I saw it. One big gold brick to clean the shit out then down the toilet. I mean, I could understand if it effected prices of the things we bought down the line. However a fucking overnight price increase? Threats of five bucks a gallon gas? What the fucking hell?

You know what has me even ANGRIER about this situation? Oh yeah, I can get angrier. I was listening to reports and they ended the segment with: "Hopefully no other countries in the Middle East join in these protests."

Excuse me? When did we stop pretending to be the fucking good guys? I mean I know it has always been bullshit but we pretend. We say: "Democracy! Yay! Go world! We are the best!" Meanwhile, we fund tyrannical despot dictators behind the scenes so we can remain a global power.

Now we do not even pretend? We want Democracy to fail? We do not want it to even start because it might jack up the fucking prices on our goddamn Hummers? What is going on with this country?

The scariest part about all this is that our Government has realized we are so stupid and corrupt that they do not even have to lie and pretend to support democracy. How far of a leap can it be from that to a military dictatorship in the United States?

Not far my sheeple!

Hopefully sites like the Tao of Fear will stem the tide of this fascist regime but I tell you all I am losing hope. I see a future where the example of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Justice comes from places like Iran and Libya.
